Sign Up & Registration FAQs

The captain must sign up first to establish the team, followed by the sign up of the players.

Yes! Please email to inquire about availability for individual registrations.

The early bird fee is $250 – before Monday, September 30, 2019.

$299 after Monday, September 30, 2019.

No. CRA regulations do not allow tax receipts to be issued for event registration fees in which you are receiving value in return.

Teams are permitted a minimum of 11 and a maximum of 17 players. Three additional non-playing team member (ie. coaches, managers, supporters) are also permitted.

Fundraising FAQs

Teams must raise a minimum of $20,000 in order to participate.

Funds support Canucks Autism Network, allowing thousands of individuals with autism and their families to benefit from programs across BC.

There are an endless number of ways that your team can meet and exceed the minimum required fundraising amount of $20,000!

Teams will draft NHL Alumni in the order of their final fundraising rankings!

The Top Fundraising Team will earn the top overall selection, their name on the CAN Pro-Am Cup, the premiere varsity dressing room at UBC and a private suite for a Vancouver Canucks game.

The Top Individual Fundraisers will receive bonus ice times at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre and Rogers Arena, as well as additional perks.

Tournament FAQs

Draft Night is Friday, January 24, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver. All participating NHL Alumni will be in attendance to be drafted.

Teams draft players in the order of their overall fundraising ranking. The more you fundraise, the better position your team will have to draft!

Players will be announced via regular newsletters to registered players, on Sportsnet 650 and on Canucks Autism Network social media.

Be sure to follow CAN on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to be kept up to date!

Each team will play 3 games at UBC Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre over the weekend.

Top individual and team fundraisers will also receive bonus ice times at Rogers Arena. View the Incentives webpage for full details.

Full hockey equipment is strongly encouraged to play in the games.
